Key Responsibilities - Accounting Ownership: Full cycle with journals, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close. Mentor the Operations Assistant on AP/AR. - Multi-Entity Compliance: Primary contact for accounting partners in UK, FR, US, ES. Review and approve subsidiary financials and tax presentations. Support audits, statutory filings, transfer pricing. - Payroll & Payments: Own end-to-end payroll across jurisdictions. Run regular AP cycles to safeguard funds availability. The CEO does not need to follow up. - Reporting & Controlling: Timely financial statements, KPI dashboards, budget-to-actual, variance analysis, cash flow. Challenge department leads when material deviations from budget appear; surface root causes to the CEO with clean supporting analysis. - Data Integrity: Streamline workflows between Sales, Account Management, Implementation, and Finance. Working closely with the Director of Accounting and Finance, this role plays a critical part in executing core accounting functions, strengthening payroll processes, and ensuring alignment between payroll, general ledger activity, and financial reporting. The Senior Accounting Manager works in partnership with Human Resources and Operations to support accurate payroll processing, time tracking, and workforce-related financial data.
