• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, including data preparation, migration activities, testing (UAT/BRT), and hyper care. • Contribute to Master Data Governance (MDG) initiatives, including system enhancements, MDG retrofit activities, testing, and user training. • Support data migration and system integration activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems. • Create and maintain vendor and customer master data in line with global standards, governance policies, and SLAs. • Act as subject matter expert for master data topics and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues. • Ensure high data quality through regular audits, DQM analysis, data cleansing, and deduplication activities. • Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and training materials to support standardized ways of working. • Gather business requirements, execute test cases, and support system improvements and new functionalities. • Provide training and guidance to end users to ensure effective adoption of tools and processes. • Identify, escalate, and resolve data quality and process issues, driving continuous improvement.

• Data Extraction, Preparation and Transformation: Writing SQL queries to extract data from various sources • Cleaning, transforming, and validating raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency for analysis; creating report and driving resolutions for data quality issues • Performing data wrangling to structure datasets for specific analytical tasks. • Developing data transformation process based on business rules. • Data Analytics and Business Analytics: Analyzing customer profile data, researching business processes and identifying how process and segmentation rules drive customer classifications • Identifying anomalies in customer classifications, inconsistencies in business processes and data; performing deep dive to uncover the root causes • Creating recommendations to address customer profile anomalies and process/data inconsistencies • Reporting and Visualization: Communicating findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders through clear presentations and written reports. • Ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions from various stakeholders. • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Working closely with business teams to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical requirements. • Presenting findings and insights to management and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Principal Financial Data Analyst Location: East Perth Australia Branch:Governance and Reporting Division:Infrastructure Salary:Level 7, $139,860 - $149,485 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2024) Work Type:Permanent - Full Time FTE:1.0 Location:East Perth Job Description: This is a permanent full-time position commencing ASAP The Governance and Reporting branch is responsible for the financial management reporting functions and governance across the division. The branch is responsible for the financial operations of the Infrastructure division including statutory and external financial reporting requirements, liaison with internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to Infrastructure finance, ensure management accounting and budgeting requirements are met and prepare accounts for payment against capital and recurrent budgets. The Role The Principal Financial Data Analyst leads and coordinates work on systems to manage and track the Department’s Asset Investment Program (AIP) and capital works programs including transportables and building condition assessments as well as maintenance and minor works. The role is responsible for planning and implementing data priorities, developing a plan to bring together critical data sets and external data sources to support infrastructure decision making and service delivery to schools. If successful, you will perform specialist business intelligence, analytics and reporting services for the Governance and Reporting branch including self-service enablement and data literacy support. This role will require a well-developed understanding of financial management and a strong awareness of existing and developing data sources, information systems and reporting requirements across the Infrastructure division and anticipate emerging requirements.
