• Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and visualizations that present business performance in a clear, actionable way. • Partner with leaders across the company to translate requests into analytics solutions tied to measurable business outcomes. • Define trusted calculations, measurements, and KPI frameworks that support stronger business decision-making. • Help make data easier to use across the organization through tools such as Power BI, Excel, and AI-enabled insights experiences. • Explore new approaches, emerging technology, and modern analytics capabilities that improve how teams interact with data. • Analyze centralized datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and areas for deeper business investigation. • Support the evolution of reporting beyond descriptive analytics by helping shape more forward-looking and action-oriented insights. • Work closely with the data engineering team and business stakeholders to ensure analytics solutions are aligned with trusted source data and real operational needs.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a business data analyst, business analyst, or similar analytics-focused role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI. This is a core requirement for the role.
- Experience working with SQL, Excel, and business data visualization to support reporting and analysis.
- Experience working with enterprise data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift, BigQuery, SQL Server) and strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, including source systems, transformations, fact/dimension structures, and data lineage.
- Demonstrated ability to work with business leaders or managers to gather requirements and turn them into practical, data-driven solutions.
- Strong business analytics mindset, including the ability to connect reporting requests to KPIs, outcomes, and decision-making needs.
- Comfortable working independently, leading with initiative, and operating effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to clearly explain past analytics projects, including data sources, modeling choices, KPIs, and business impact.
- Comfort presenting dashboards and analytical approaches to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and experience defending design decisions.
- Strong understanding of data engineering; ability to partner effectively with data engineering teams and understand the technical complexity behind enterprise datasets.
- Strong interest in and openness to AI-enabled analytics is critical for success in this role. The team is actively investing in AI-driven insights, automation, and modern analytics workflows.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted analytics tools (Power BI Copilot, Azure AI, generative AI for analysis, or similar) is highly desired.
