• Managing and developing a set of key accounts in Germany (specific territory assigned based on business needs, candidate location, and team alignment) by implementing corporate initiatives and strategies and driving 3M programs for preferred contractors in the Commercial & Industrial sector. • Growing our Commercial & Industrial segment (C&I) with the assigned accounts above market by selling the 3M brand and technologies • Strengthening customer relationships with distributors, B2B end-customers, and contractors in Germany • Engaging and collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. Technical Support, Marketing, Distribution Sales Team, EMEA Key Account Team) to identify and win new projects • Make use of our CRM system to plan, manage and document your sales activities and provide market opportunities to drive corporate growth programs
Job Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience selling technical products for electrotechnical industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
- Fluent German and good English language skills are a must
- Self-starter mentality paired with a strong business acumen, analytical skills, and excellent team collaboration abilities, along with the ability to easily establish relationships with existing and new customers
- Valid driver’s license and openness to travel extensively in the region of Germany (>3 days/week)
- Practical skills to show the value and advantages of solutions by conducting hand-on presentations and trainings
- Experience of using CRM systems to plan, manage and document sales activities
- Education in electrical field: power engineering, electrical engineering or construction
- Experience of working with electrical contractors and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) firms
- Experience of working in a large and complex corporate environment
