Sr Premium Analytics Analyst II

Role Description Analyzes actual and model estimated premium data to determine variances and collaborate with stakeholders to research solutions. Works independently and leads initiatives to drive project milestones and process enhancements. This role is fully remote. Essential Functions: - Premium Analysis (50%): Collaborates with team to research and complete analysis of premium rates. Uses various tools to validate premiums by leveraging a combination of analytical skills, treaty comprehension, and resourcefulness. Works with a variety of data sets. Shifts between analytic and strategic. Learns and understands various internal systems and nuances of teams within Hannover Re Operations. - Issue Resolution (25%): Solves problems. Strategically evaluates issues that arise from premium validation. Contributes to issue management and resolution, including proactively coordinating with both internal and external parties. - Stakeholder Support (15%): Supports stakeholder communication, training, and ad hoc premium-related projects. Researches, resolves, and documents complex business, technical, and data issues for a variety of stakeholders to support their business processes and associated timelines. - Training and Mentoring (10%): Trains and mentors others on the team and within the broader Operations group on the tools, processes, and querying techniques to further the functional, business, and technical knowledge of others.
