Role Description As enterprise demand for Global Trade Intelligence (GTI) solutions grows, Descartes needs a senior and an intermediate Implementation Consultants who can ensure complex implementations deliver value quickly, reliably, and at scale. These roles exist to bridge strategy and execution—owning high-impact SaaS deployments, aligning multiple stakeholders, and ensuring our clients realize the full potential of GTI within their ERP and CRM ecosystems. Outcomes — What Success Looks Like - Accelerate Time-to-Value — Reduce average enterprise implementation timelines and achieve on-time go-lives across all assigned projects within 12–18 months. - Drive Client Confidence & Retention — Establish trusted advisor relationships with strategic accounts, resulting in high satisfaction scores and long-term platform adoption. - Deliver High-Quality Implementations — Ensure consistent, scalable delivery of GTI solutions with minimal post-go-live defects or escalations. - Strengthen Integration Execution — Achieve seamless coordination with third-party integration teams, meeting agreed scope, timelines, and technical requirements. - Standardize Delivery Excellence — Contribute to reusable frameworks, documentation, and governance models adopted across the GTI implementation team. - Enable Customer Self-Sufficiency — Design onboarding, architecture, and training approaches that reduce dependency on post-launch support. - Improve Operational Efficiency — Identify and implement process improvements that reduce rework, increase traceability, and optimize DevOps and release governance workflows. Qualifications - 5-7 years experience leading enterprise SaaS implementations and ERP/CRM integrations (SAP S/4 HANA, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce). - Strong hands-on knowledge of API architectures (REST, SOAP, SFTP) and integration design patterns. - Familiarity with global trade compliance systems (e.g., denied party screening, export processes) is an asset. - Experience coordinating third-party development or integration teams in complex delivery environments. Requirements - Proven ability to manage multiple enterprise implementations with minimal oversight. - Strong project governance and Agile/Scrum execution experience (Jira, Azure DevOps, Freshservice). - Experience leading UAT, multi-environment deployments, and hypercare phases. - Ability to translate technical complexity into clear plans for both technical and executive stakeholders. The Lead Time & Labor Specialist acts as a key backup and strong support to the Time, Labor, and Compliance Manager, assisting with daily operations, special projects, and audit readiness. We are looking for a strong candidate with prior team lead or supervisory responsibilities, highly organized, comfortable guiding junior team members, and proactive in researching and resolving issues independently. You should also be able to manage deadlines effectively, adhere to established processes, and recognize when escalation is necessary. This role does not include direct supervisory responsibility but provides leadership and mentorship to team members through project coordination, peer guidance, and process improvements. Primary Responsibilities: - Perform advanced timesheet and Costpoint administration and reviews to ensure all submissions and approvals meet company and federal requirements. - Serve as a primary escalation point for complex or sensitive timesheet and labor charging issues. Leads the research, analysis, and resolution of any complex time and labor issues. Documenting new controls to handle automated decisions or preventative measures. - Support the Time, Labor, and Compliance Manager with compliance activities, audit support, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant payroll or time keeping experience.
