Grant Writer + Executive Assistant

Role Description L'EVATE Inc. is hiring on behalf of our client for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Grant Writer + Executive Assistant to support senior leadership while helping secure Canadian grants and funding opportunities. This role is a hybrid of grant writing, business research, and executive support for the CEO and COO. You will play a key role in identifying funding opportunities, preparing grant applications, managing deadlines, and helping leadership stay organized and focused on growth. What You'll Be Responsible For - Grant Writing + Funding Research - Research Canadian grants, government funding programs, and business incentive opportunities - Identify grants relevant to the company's operations and future growth plans - Prepare grant applications, proposals, and supporting documentation - Track deadlines, reporting requirements, and follow-up actions - Maintain a clear pipeline of active and upcoming funding opportunities - Work closely with leadership to gather information needed for submissions - Executive Assistant Support - Manage calendars, meetings, scheduling, and follow-ups for the CEO and COO - Organize reports, presentations, files, and internal business documents - Assist with inbox management and communication coordination - Handle business research and special projects - Support internal operations and help improve workflows - Use AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual work - Provide day-to-day executive support and task management Qualifications - Previous experience in grant writing, proposal writing, or funding applications - Strong executive assistant or administrative support experience - Excellent written and verbal English communication - Strong research, organization, and time management skills - High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Comfortable using ChatGPT and AI tools to improve productivity - Strong problem-solving ability and independent thinking - Familiarity with Canadian grants is a strong advantage - Experience with workflow automation tools is a plus Requirements - Highly proactive and self-managed - Professional, dependable, and trustworthy - Strong sense of ownership and accountability - Able to prioritize and manage multiple moving parts - Thinks ahead and solves problems before they happen - Always looking for better systems and smarter ways to work Position Details - Remote - Full-Time - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm EST How To Apply Please send: - Your resume - A short introduction about your experience with grant writing and executive support - Examples of grants, proposals, or similar work you've completed (if available) Subject Line: Grant Writer + Executive Assistant – [Your Name] We are looking for someone exceptional who wants to grow long-term with a fast-moving business and make a real impact.
