Role Description We’re looking for a sharp, persuasive, and highly organized Onboarding Specialist who can convert new leads into committed clients while managing the full onboarding process with confidence and professionalism. This role requires someone who understands sales psychology, thrives under pressure, and knows how to negotiate with assertive and detail-driven professionals — including lawyers. You must be able to guide clients through onboarding, handle objections without hesitation, close deals quickly, and set the foundation for long-term success. Key Responsibilities - Client Conversion & Sales - Take warm and hot leads and convert them into signed clients through confident, strategic communication. - Handle objections and concerns with strong, structured rebuttals. - Negotiate terms with clients — including attorneys — while maintaining professionalism and control. - Present service value clearly, overcome resistance, and secure commitment. - Onboarding Process Management - Lead clients through the entire onboarding process from first contact to activation. - Ensure all documents, agreements, and required information are collected quickly and accurately. - Clearly explain service terms, expectations, timelines, and deliverables. - Coordinate with internal teams to deliver a smooth, fast transition from onboarding to operations. - Relationship & Communication - Build trust and authority from the first interaction; maintain a confident, advisory tone. - Manage tough personalities — including demanding, skeptical, or high-expectation clients — without losing control. - Act as the client’s primary onboarding contact and set clear communication boundaries. - Ensure clients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout the process. - Operational Excellence - Maintain detailed records of all onboarding actions, notes, and commitments. - Identify breakdowns in the onboarding pipeline and recommend improvements. - Track performance metrics including conversion rate, onboarding speed, and retention impact. - Provide feedback to leadership on client behavior, recurring objections, and market trends. Qualifications - Proven success in sales, client onboarding, account management, or business development. - Strong negotiation skills — able to handle high-authority individuals (lawyers, executives, etc.). - Excellent verbal and written communication; confident, concise, and persuasive. - Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously in a fast-moving environment. - Strong emotional intelligence: can read client behavior and adjust strategy instantly. - Experience with CRM systems and organized documentation practices. - Comfortable in high-pressure, target-driven roles.
