Data Analytics Manager, Supply Chain

Role Description Data is the backbone of our Panasonic Supply Chain and Panasonic North America is focused on transforming our supply chain data, reporting and business intelligence to make real-time, informed business decisions. To achieve this goal, we are seeking a high performing Data Analytics Manager to lead and execute our data and reporting transformation vision. This leader will manage the data and analytics function supporting Logistics and Procurement to produce quality analysis, business insights, performance dashboards, business operations reports, and financial reports. - Support logistics and procurement group management to plan and execute the supply chain strategy. - Direct ownership of annual financial business plan processes. - Work closely with sales division business partners and operation team managers. - Manage vendor(s) providing resources for report creation. - Align team with respective PNA sales companies and operational units. - Collaborate with various directors to develop and execute procurement, logistics, and supply-chain strategies. Data Governance, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Software - Participate in Data Governance projects. - Execute Data Quality roadmap with IT, Supply Chain & Business teams. - Identify Data Owners & Data Stewards within Supply Chain & Business Unit teams. - Define & execute Data policies. - Continuously improve and monitor supply chain data accuracy. - Lead projects to improve data quality using Machine Learning & AI. - Manage data integrity and serve as Supply Chain subject matter expert. - Work with Panasonic IT Department to improve Data Warehouse functionality. - Manage design table of Business Objects intelligence software. - Interpret requirements to build dashboards for business governance. - Lead and manage Business Intelligence team and Outsourced Vendor(s). - Ensure SOPs are maintained for report creation. - Conduct annual process audits for compliance with SOP. - Develop and coordinate a streamlined reporting approach. - Coach and guide the team and outsourced vendors. - Automate or semi-automate all weekly & monthly reports. - Serve as a liaison between outsourcers and Panasonic. Own and deliver high quality performance business reports and cost saving reporting - Create/update monthly business presentations via Microsoft PowerPoint. - Provide analysis for continuous improvement projects. - Develop constant benchmarking to understand competitive supply chain factors. - Measure Panasonic’s supply chain competitiveness objectively. - Learn and deploy procurement and logistics industry data trends. - Ensure smooth communication with domain and sales company contacts. - Drive data automation strategies and enable operations to gain insights. Qualifications - Minimum BA degree in Data Analytics, Business, or Logistics preferred. - 7+ years of progressive supply chain analysis experience. - Supply Chain Operation experience preferred. - Managerial experience in logistics and/or transportation field preferred. - Advanced PC skills – MS Office, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel required. - Good understanding of supply chain including procurement and logistics. - Advanced knowledge and skills for Business Objects preferred. - Experience in master data management and SQL. - Ability to build dashboards in Power BI or Tableau. Competencies - Fact-finding and analysis are critical parts of the job. - Able to multitask and prioritize assignments. - Strong communication skills required. - Ability to present to various sized groups.
