Network Engineer – F5
CVS Health
• Operate and maintain F5 BIG-IP platforms (LTM, DNS/GTM, ASM/Advanced WAF, APM as applicable) in production environments. • Monitor F5 infrastructure health, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools. • Perform incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation for application delivery and load-balancing issues. • Manage and troubleshoot: Virtual servers, Pools and pool members, Profiles (HTTP, TCP, SSL), iRules (operational support; development a plus). • Execute change activities including configuration updates, software upgrades, patches, and certificate renewals following change management processes. • Support high availability, failover, and disaster recovery configurations (sync-failover device groups, active/active, active/standby). • Partner with application, security, and network teams to onboard new applications and optimize traffic flows. • Maintain accurate documentation for F5 configurations, operational procedures, and runbooks. • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical incidents. • Ensure platforms adhere to security, compliance, and operational standards under InfoSec governance.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting F5 BIG-IP in an enterprise production environment
- Strong expertise in LTM; working knowledge of ASM/WAF, APM, or DNS preferred
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS SSL/TLS and certificate lifecycle management VLANs, routing, NAT
- Experience troubleshooting complex application delivery or performance issues
- Familiarity with change management, incident management, and ITIL-based operational processes
- Ability to read, interpret, and make minor modifications to iRules
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Role Description The Provider Relations Specialist assists providers via phone and email with bill review questions and requests of varying complexity. This role is responsible for documenting bill review errors to improve team error rate trend. The Provider Relations Specialist acts as a positive and professional representative of our CorVel family. Role Description The Network Specialist is responsible for day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting, and ensuring network stability and security. They monitor and maintain the network infrastructure, resolve connectivity issues, and implement security measures. They also provide user support and training and collaborate on network upgrades and expansions. This position is eligible for remote work.
