Role Description Manage a team of engineers (onshore and offshore) to develop a broad portfolio of diverse technology projects. - Provide hands-on leadership for a full-stack development team building and enhancing Inovalon suite of Risk Adjustment software solutions in a service-oriented, highly scalable, multi-datacenter environment. - Participate in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends, and best practices to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge. - Inspire, mentor, recruit, and lead the best software engineering talent. - Maintain working knowledge of the Risk Adjustment product line in terms of usage, business value, roadmap, and user perspective. - Determine both individual performance and team goals and ensure alignment with the overall Risk Adjustment product line goals and objectives. - Be accountable for the team's code quality by performing code reviews and promoting engineering best practices. Supervises 6-10 subordinates: Staff Software Engineer; Senior Engineers; Software Engineer. Qualifications - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field of study, or foreign equivalent. - At least 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or at least 3 years of experience in any IT/developer related job titles. - 3 years of experience in the following: - Development experience with Microsoft .net technologies. - Microsoft SQL server and other common backend Microsoft technologies, including SSRS and SSIS. - Object-oriented design (OOD), unified modeling language (UML), stateless distributed architectures, and designing for scalability and performance. - Managing teams of software engineers, principal software engineers, software architects, quality analysts working collaboratively with product owners on solution delivery. - SOA design patterns (e.g., event-driven architecture, complex event processing, in-memory caching, canonical data modeling, model-view-controller). - 12-factor app architecture, design, and implementation. - NLP & machine learning. - Telecommuting Available. Role Description Eaton’s Aerospace Group is seeking an FBU Quality & Engineering Integration Manager. This role provides senior-level technical, quality, and strategic leadership for Eaton’s Fuel Business Unit (FBU) operating in a 100% supplier-managed environment. The position requires the ability to speak truth to power, challenge incomplete or superficial analysis, and ensure rigor in problem solving and decision making while maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships. This is a virtual role and supports remote sites and resources working through external supplier sites and Eaton functional teams globally. Essential Responsibilities: - Oversee, hire, and mentor all areas of quality personnel including return material (warranty), receiving inspection, final inspection, source inspection, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, customer quality, and quality compliance. - Monitor FBU product quality progress and performance and make corrections as needed. - Act as a primary organizational contact for customer concerns and ensure appropriate corrective actions are deployed as necessary at affected sites and suppliers. - Assist in organizational readiness for customer and other third party assessments. - Deploy Eaton Business System tools, where appropriate or required, to improve Quality Management System effectiveness (i.e. EQS, QLI, PPAP, WISPER, etc). - Assist in obtaining, maintaining and improving organizational certifications/regulatory compliance (i.e. QMS AS9100 certification, NADCAP process certification, FAA, etc). - Develop and deploy effective FMEAs and Control Plans using Eaton PPAP to ensure process controls and standard work are being utilized effectively on the shop floor and at Suppliers. - Develop, set and achieve goals associated with the development, manufacture and supply of FBU products. - Ensure the promotion and awareness of customer and regulatory requirements throughout the organization and Eaton supply base. - Direct the disposition and analysis of returned material and internal non-conforming product within the scope of the FBU MRB process. - Ensure that actions around top pareto rejection items are identified, implemented and validated. - Manage customer portals and customer scorecards to ensure actions are being completed and customer requirements are being met. - Maintain and action quality metrics: FRY, Customer and Intra-site DPPM, CONC, Scrap $, Warranty $, Customer Corrective Action OTD, Customer Audits, Supplier DPPM, Supplier Corrective Action OTD. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. - Minimum of 2 years with coaching and development of others. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in aerospace quality or engineering environments. - This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
