Role Description What You’ll Do - Design High-Quality Visual Experiences - Create polished UI with a focus on motion, illustration, composition, and interaction details—bringing clarity and personality to complex experiences. - Execute Within Design Systems (Atlas, SDUI) - Apply and extend system components to deliver consistent, scalable UI. Contribute improvements through patterns, documentation, and feedback loops. - Ship Against Real Product Timelines - Work closely with Product and Engineering to deliver production-ready designs aligned to roadmap priorities, especially through component-based delivery. - Contribute to VisionType & Future Concepts - Help translate emerging ideas, roadmap features, and new patterns into cohesive, forward-looking design work. - Partner Cross-Functionally - Collaborate with Engineering, UXR, Product, and Marketing to ensure designs are feasible, validated, and aligned with brand and business goals. - Support Design Quality & Operations - Contribute to documentation, async communication, and lightweight QA practices that improve consistency and system adoption. Role Description Lob is entering a pivotal new chapter, and we are seeking a visionary Lead Product Designer to scale our product. In this role, you will do more than design features; you will design the systems and UX philosophies that elevate our design org. This is a unique opportunity to take a successful, established company and "re-found" its design language for the AI era.
