Clinical Sales Associate
Intuitive
• Implement the clinical sales plan defined by the da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager to drive utilization of the da Vinci® Surgical System. • Become a da Vinci® Surgery expert, focusing on core indications in the region, to support the development of surgical robotics programs in the assigned territory. • Support regional sales and marketing events that build system awareness and encourage procedure adoption. • Develop a da Vinci® Surgery plan for each surgical team to ensure they can use the system independently within a reasonable timeframe based on their volume and access to the system. • Drive utilization of the da Vinci® system by working with surgical teams to review and select appropriate cases and ensure consistent use of the system. • Expand the user base by working with key hospital staff and surgeon thought leaders to develop a qualified lead funnel; interactions with C-level executives, senior hospital staff and KOLs will be supported by the Clinical Sales Manager. • Lead surgical teams through training sessions, helping them understand system operations, OR integration and da Vinci® Surgery applications. • Serve as a resource to the surgical team by providing guidance and case support on the use of the da Vinci® Surgical System. • Manage administrative tasks responsibly, including reporting sales/procedures, outcomes of sales activities, and submitting expense reports. • Act as a Medical Device Consultant (Medizinprodukteberater) in Austria and Germany, after appropriate training and in accordance with legal requirements, providing guidance, insight and support in the proper handling of Intuitive medical devices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in support and training within the medical device industry, or a minimum of two years' prior sales experience in healthcare.
- Proven success in sales support or sales roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and German required.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, depending on account distribution.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the operating room environment preferred.
