Refractive Surgical Sales Specialist – Capital Equipment

Alcon

• Building strong relationships with ophthalmologists, clinics, and key opinion leaders to understand clinical and business needs and position tailored solutions • Driving sales of capital equipment and refractive surgical platforms, managing complex negotiations and achieving territory targets. • Analyzing territory performance, customer data, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and protect market share • Traveling across the country to support customers, conduct product demonstrations, and close new business opportunities • Collaborating with internal technical and commercial teams to ensure successful implementation, training, and ongoing customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Biomedical Engineering, Optometry, or related field preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in medical device, capital equipment, or consultative B2B sales
  • Proven track record in negotiation and closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen: ability to analyze data, understand market dynamics, and respond to competitor activity
  • Exposure to ophthalmology, refractive technologies, or clinical environments (highly preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High level of discipline, autonomy, and execution focus in a results-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
