Channel and Operations Director
Solventum
• Leading the strategy and execution of channel management and commercial operations to accelerate profitable growth across dental distribution, DSOs, and other key channels • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, and Supply Chain to improve channel performance, strengthen distributor effectiveness, and ensure operational excellence that supports customers and field teams • Remove operational barriers that impede sales execution across our dental and orthodontics business; improve the customer and field experience through better service delivery, issue resolution, and process clarity • Oversee channel-facing operational communications and ensure consistent ways of working with partners and internal stakeholders • Provide business support and strategy for input into commercial operations for our orthodontics and dental businesses
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of progressive experience in channel management, sales operations, commercial operations, key account operations, or related roles
- 5+ years of people leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience managing complex channel ecosystems (e.g., distributors, dealers, reseller networks, DSOs) and driving measurable business outcomes through partners
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline (preferred)
- Experience in the dental / orthodontics / medical device industry, including understanding of dental distribution models and DSO dynamics (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of commercial operations disciplines such as sales enablement/operations, analytics, CRM, indirect data/POS, chargebacks, forecasting, and issue resolution (preferred)
- Proven success designing and operationalizing channel programs, partner performance management, and cross-functional execution models (preferred)
- Advanced analytical capability (building KPI dashboards, running QBRs, translating insights into actions) including comfort working with indirect/channel data
- Track record of improving customer experience and operational performance by removing systemic barriers and modernizing ways of working
