About the Role We are looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst with deep program control expertise to serve as the financial backbone for our government contracting programs. This role owns the intersection of finance and execution by managing cost performance, funding, and financial reporting across a portfolio of cost-type and fixed-price government contracts. The ideal candidate thrives in a DCAA-regulated environment, communicates fluently in the language of EACs, CDRLs, and WAWF, and operates with the rigor and ownership that federal prime contracting demands. This is a remote position, but requires quarterly onsite travel. Travel expectation predicted to be up to 10%. Key Responsibilities - Lead monthly program financial reviews (PFRs) with program managers and leadership, surfacing cost trends, funding status, schedule variances, and risks with clear, data-driven narratives. - Develop, maintain, and update Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Estimates to Complete (ETCs), coordinating with technical leads to ensure accuracy and alignment with contract scope. - Prepare accurate consolidated financial statements and reporting packages across multiple legal entities, managing intercompany eliminations and ensuring consistency across entity-level books. - Manage CLIN/SLIN/ACRN funding structure across active task orders, monitoring ceiling burn, funding availability, and notifying the contracting team of 75%/85% funding thresholds in accordance with Limitation of Funds clauses. - Process invoices and vouchers through WAWF and other government payment portals, ensuring billing is accurate, timely, and fully supported in accordance with contract terms and DCAA requirements. - Support incurred cost submission preparation and DCAA audits, including floor check readiness, labor floor checks, and documentation of direct and indirect cost pools. - Partner with the contracts team to review and interpret contract terms, modifications, and funding documents, translating changes into updated financial baselines and program budgets. - Maintain job cost structures in ERP (Unanet), ensuring proper charge code setup, indirect rate application, and compliance with FAR Part 31 cost principles and unallowable cost identification. - Develop and maintain subcontract financial tracking, including subcontractor cost monitoring against NTE ceilings, pay-when-paid coordination, and subcontractor invoice validation. - Assist in the development of internal financial forecasts, operating budgets, and cash flow projections, integrating contract-level data into company-wide models. - Support the business development organization by providing financial expertise across the capture lifecycle, including development of pricing models, rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, labor and indirect rate structures, and data rate analyses for new opportunities. Translate contract vehicle terms, historical cost data, and program execution experience into competitive, defensible price-to-win positions that reflect both technical realism and financial strategy.
