Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI & GCP Solution Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise data solutions that enable actionable insights and business intelligence at scale. This role requires expertise in Power BI for reporting and visualization, as well as hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for data integration, transformation, and analytics. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities - Solution Architecture & Design - Design and implement end-to-end data analytics and reporting solutions leveraging Power BI and GCP. - Define data models, architecture patterns, and best practices for enterprise-scale reporting. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Power BI Development & Governance - Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power BI. - Establish governance frameworks for dataset management, workspace structure, and access control. - Optimize Power BI performance, ensuring efficiency across large datasets. - GCP Data Engineering & Integration - Participate in architecting data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, Dataproc, and other GCP services. - Overview the implementation of ETL/ELT processes for integrating structured and unstructured data sources. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security in cloud data architectures. - Collaboration & Leadership - Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams. - Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in data architecture, BI, or analytics solutions. - Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, governance, administration). - Deep knowledge of GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Composer, Looker Studio, Cloud Storage. - Proven experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud migration projects. - Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python/Java/Scala for data transformations. - Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Previous experiences leading and managing enterprise data programs. - Proven ability to handle ambiguity. Preferred Qualifications - GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Data Engineer certification. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager). - Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) alongside GCP. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
