Title: Supervisor Insurance/Billing/Collection (Hybrid) - Physicians Billing Service Location: Saint Louis United States Job Description: Full time job requisition id JR94016 Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Note: Position is primarily remote, but occasional on-site presence is required. Position handles the day to day operations of providing assistance to staff working with insurance matters, supervising, advising and overseeing posting, collections, and/or reimbursement functions, and counseling patients and/or families on options for financial assistance. Responsible for accounts receivable from Managed Care Payors for Physicians Billing Service. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Establishes and maintains accurate Epic work queues to achieve optimal follow-up. - Communicates policies and educates staff on billing issues to promote efficient flow of billing process. - Counsels patients on financial and other issues regarding accounts management. - Advises department managers on collection issues that arise. - Handles missing charge ticket list, locating missing ticket and generating another ticket if needed. - Monitors and updates monthly collection totals in department. - Advises affected areas on diagnoses, prices and charges for special batches. - Participates in selection process of new employees, training, supervising and evaluating employees; informs employees of changes in the department. - Assists with coverage in staff areas during illness/vacations; back-up for HMO/PPO Representative. - Assists IBC team with special projects. Role Description Zurich is currently looking for an RCIS Seasonal Crop Adjuster to join our Rural Community Insurance Services (RCIS) team. This position is scheduled with up to 30 flex hours, and approximately 50% travel is expected to cover the territory. The ideal candidate will need to live and service within a 50-mile area of the following Wisconsin counties: Polk, St Croix, Barron, Dunn, Pierce, Pepin as well as the following Minnesota Counties: Chisago, Washington. Requirements - RCIS Crop Adjuster Physical Requirements: walk in agricultural fields up to 3 miles, climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs., work outdoors in varying temperatures/weather conditions.
