Job Requirements
- Experience in business analysis/BI with a strong data focus
- End-to-end understanding of IT projects
- Ability to elicit and refine requirements
- Reading and analysis of tables, data volumes and data joins/cross-referencing
- Familiarity with data modeling
- Knowledge of APIs and integrations
- Interface with Architecture, DevOps and technical teams
- Familiarity with ITIL
- Strong communication with technical and executive audiences
- Interest in or experience with Artificial Intelligence applied to data contexts
- Experience with Tech Products or digital products
- Knowledge of Big Data (e.g., Spark) and data architecture
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and tools such as Copilot
- Experience with agile methodologies and BI tools
- Experience working in complex data environments

Schedule: Day Shift Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Business Systems Analyst III provides senior level knowledge of database management and is the gatekeeper and manager of all electronic information passing through CHLA clinical and administrative systems. The Business Systems Analyst III will also create and maintain database tables, scripts, and reports to support business intelligence throughout the company. Role Description The Senior Business Analyst serves as the primary analyst supporting Commercial Lines product implementations, system enhancements, and operational process improvements across multiple states and products.
