Role Description This role is part of Genius’ team that helps sports leagues and teams boost performance on and off the field using cutting-edge tech, analytics, and visual insights. As a Sports Data Operator, you’ll help power our live products by: - Collecting and validating real-time tracking and play-by-play data using specialised in-house software. - Confirming teams, lineups, and players with precision. - Monitoring events as they happen. - Flagging issues to Game Supervisors and contributing feedback in post-game reviews. This role is an entry-level position with a Service provider contract, remote position based in Colombia. Qualifications - Passion for sports with working knowledge of Basketball and Football (rules, lineups, gameplay). - Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset; high accuracy in live environments. - Strong English communication and solid computer literacy; quick to learn specialised tools. - Reliable, punctual, and self-directed, comfortable working with minimal supervision. - Calm under pressure with excellent time management and multitasking during live games. - Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (min. 10 hrs/week). - Reliable high-speed internet (≥50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) and a suitable remote setup. • Define and evolve CFC-wide data architecture across all major systems and platforms • Establish clear data domains, system boundaries, and integration patterns • Assess current and future organizational data needs and translate them into architectural direction • Develop long-term data architecture patterns that balance scalability, maintainability, and delivery constraints • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models representing CFC’s core entities, relationships, and measures • Define, document, and govern source system schemas including canonical fields, data types, naming standards, and versioning approaches • Establish systems of record and systems of reference for key domains such as accounts, licenses, users, and programs • Ensure consistent implementation of data models across operational systems • Create clear documentation that enables shared understanding across technical and non-technical stakeholders • Architect and guide data flows between CFC systems to support operations, analytics, research, and decision-making • Design integration and transformation approaches that preserve semantic meaning • Oversee large-scale data integration, transformation, and storage patterns for reliable analytics • Monitor and evolve data flows to reduce duplication, fragility, and unnecessary complexity • Embed privacy, security, and compliance requirements directly into data models and integrations • Partner with IT, security, and legal teams to align architecture with regulatory and policy requirements • Ensure privacy and security protocols, including field-level encryption, role-based access control, deletion, and auditing are architected into and consistently supported across CFC’s data architecture • Define data quality standards and validation strategies, including management of schema drift over time • Enablement & Collaboration • Work closely with engineers, analysts, researchers, data stewards, and business partners • Serve as a subject-matter expert on CFC’s data architecture • Communicate complex data concepts clearly to diverse audiences

• Architect the Data Foundation: Design and own the end-to-end data architecture underpinning GenAI application deployments - spanning ingestion, transformation, serving layers, and integration with existing enterprise data environments, including Databricks and legacy platforms. • Get Hands-On in the Stack: Work directly with application and ML teams to implement and validate data pipelines, schema designs, and data access patterns that power production-grade AI applications built in Python/FastAPI. • Drive Proactive Integration: Operate at a high velocity by anticipating data needs rather than waiting for them. You will partner closely with—and complement—integration architects, filling the technical gaps to keep the project moving at a rapid pace • Bridge Two Worlds: Act as a high-EQ consultant who can translate complex data architecture decisions into clear strategic narratives for client leadership - and then roll up your sleeves to implement them alongside the team. • Set the Data Standards: Define and enforce data governance, quality, and lineage practices within the delivery environment. Role Description The 33rd Team is seeking Coaching & Scouting Interns to join the Product track of our Internship Program. This role is built for aspiring football professionals who want to develop the film evaluation skills, scouting discipline, and football intelligence that define successful coaches and scouts at the professional level. Interns will contribute directly to our proprietary data product through live scouting and film study, while working alongside coaching, scouting, and analytics staff. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for football, a long-term aspiration to coach or lead within the game, and the coachability to grow into a football professional. - Contribute to the scouting data collection process through live data collection and backdated integration, accurately logging information that powers our product. - Study and evaluate game film to support football operations and identify player and team tendencies. - Collaborate cross-functionally with coaching, scouting, and analytics staff to support football operations and product initiatives. - Develop the foundational film evaluation skills and scouting discipline that define great coaches and scouts. Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (sophomore, junior, or senior standing). - Deep passion for football and strong understanding of scheme concepts, positional roles, and player evaluation. - Long-term aspiration to coach, scout, or lead within football. - Highly coachable with a genuine desire to sharpen your football mind. - Exceptional attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.
