• Responsible for managing cross functional projects for clients • Oversee project budget and driving course corrections to maintain such, for items within your control • Able to organize internal business groups to manage and implement projects to scope while managing customer expectation • Simultaneously manage a portfolio of unrelated projects and provide transparency into progress to client and Datavail management • Tailor a project management approaches to the type/size of project using various techniques including Agile and waterfall • Develop integrated schedule including critical path and ensures assigned resources are executing as planned • Must have the ability to multitask and enhance a team environment • Monitor, track, and control change to the projects through formal change control management of requirements, configuration, performance measures, cost, schedule, program organization structure, and technology environment (release schedules, infrastructure changes, etc.)
Job Requirements
- 10 or more years Project/Program Management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 4 years managing Data Management, Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse projects within a cloud or on-prem environment
- Must have experience and be adept and leading globally sourced project teams as we use a global delivery model
- Bachelor's degree, Business or Technical or a related field of study
- 10 years professional services experience with leading projects for external or internal customers
- Data Warehouse or Analytics project implementation experience required
- PMP or Agile implementation methodology experience

Role Description Smartsheet is looking for a Project Manager to join our global Corporate Responsibility team. Based in Bengaluru, you will be a key operational driver, supporting both our global initiatives and local India-specific programs. You will sit at the intersection of data management, global project coordination, and local community impact, ensuring our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Inclusion work is tracked, measured, and executed with excellence. This role reports to the VP, Corporate Responsibility. What You’ll Do - Project Management: Manage multiple complex workstreams across the CSR and Inclusion functions, moving projects from ambiguity to execution while maintaining a high degree of organizational rigor. - Global Operations & Tracking: Serve as the primary administrator for our global Employee Resource Group (ERG) and volunteer program tracking tools. Maintain consistent outreach to ERG leads and volunteer coordinators to ensure high-quality data input, program visibility, and operational support across both initiatives. - Smartsheet Solutions: Act as the team’s subject matter expert for Smartsheet, building and maintaining the sheets, reports, and dashboards that power our global metrics and impact reporting. - India CSR & Inclusion: Support Bengaluru-specific volunteerism and inclusion efforts, helping to grow Smartsheet's footprint and employee experience in the region. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with global teams and local Bengaluru-based employees, balancing the tactical needs of the business with a deep understanding of the employee volunteer experience.
