Senior Account Manager, Client Services
Gallagher
Role Description The Account Manager is responsible for new voluntary product implementations and ongoing account management support on escalated matters for mid to large-sized clients. - Leads appropriate resources to ensure successful voluntary benefit implementations including coordination with technology/platforms, Gallagher Enrollment Solutions or outside enrollment firms. - Builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with the local Gallagher producers & account managers and their clients. - Leads client reviews (existing issues, timelines, and future benefit offerings) where appropriate. - May coordinate the work of administrative support and customer service. - Responsible for assisting with billing set-up between the client and the provider. - Conducts policy reviews and updates benefit communications. - Works with Proposals & Analysis team-members on renewals and new Due Diligence where required. - Responsible for supporting local branch account managers with escalated matters requiring VB expertise and carrier relationships. - Limited client facing travel may be required. - Issue voluntary benefit proposal requests to providers, customizing requests as required. - Negotiate with insurance providers in order to secure the best offer on behalf of the client. - Provide detailed review and analysis of insurance provider RFP responses. - Prepare Market Scan for each assigned group using tools available to streamline this process. - Communicate approved, sold plan designs and client particulars to the Client Services team for implementation. - May be responsible for certain clients from the Proposal process, through and including implementation and client services. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience OR High School degree and 10 years client coordination and/or claims management experience. - License required. - Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time. Requirements - Professional designation may be preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.
