Role Description As a Regional Sales Manager, your role would include establishing and maintaining strong long-term customer partnerships with your chimney professionals, hearth stores, and other customer segments. You will work to expand the Copperfield Chimney brand throughout your territory. Territory included: PA - Monitors customer and market activity as well as the competitive landscape to ensure competitive solutions/offerings and to inform marketing efforts. - Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers. - Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. - Travels throughout assigned area to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talk with customers by phone, text and/or email. - Uses in-depth knowledge of product application to assist customers. Promote and/or coordinate product training or demonstrations for customers as needed through Copperfield Academy. - Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. - Facilitates the resolution of customer needs by working with internal company partners. - Maintains technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional networking events, and industry trade shows. - Keeps leadership informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. - Plans for the achievement of individual, team, and divisional targets in alignment with the strategies and policies of the company. - Supports cross-selling programs and campaigns. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. - 5 years of prior regional professional sales experience. - Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding sales goals. - Valid driver’s license.
