My client, a leader in the world of document automation, has asked me to find a senior backend engineer with expert Go knowledge to help build reliable, scalable systems that process millions of documents for their expanding customer base. You have a foundation in backend engineering and are aware of customer needs and have an opinion of how users experience your work. You think of yourself as a full‑stack engineer with product instincts. The tech stack comprises: - Go - PostgreSQL - Kubernetes - GCP/AWS - Svelte - Typescript Qualifications - 10+ years engineering experience - 2+ years Go in production - Experience in successfully using AI agents as part of the development process and a desire to do more with it - Track record of successfully working remotely - Open to join an on-call rota once you're settled Requirements - The team likes to get together every 4-6 weeks for 2 days at a time around the South East of England.
