Role Description TaskForce is seeking a Senior Manager of Social Commerce & Growth to lead and scale our merchandise ecosystem as a revenue-driving, audience-building, and movement-amplifying channel. This role sits at the intersection of social commerce, digital marketing, SEO, paid acquisition, creator partnerships, and cultural distribution. The ideal candidate knows how to turn apparel and cultural products into campaigns that drive traffic, sales, engagement, and visibility across platforms. - Lead and implement growth strategy across TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, Shopify, and emerging commerce platforms. - Build and manage paid acquisition campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, and other relevant platforms. - Create opportunities to increase sales through platform optimization, creator partnerships, paid campaigns, affiliate marketing, and promotions. - Own performance goals tied to traffic, conversion, revenue, engagement, and customer acquisition. - Lead and manage stores, including uploading and optimizing all products, and managing product and collection pages with a focus on search and discovery. - Implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and product visibility, including optimizing for AI / agentic search. - Manage social storefronts: Build and maintain social commerce presence, including TikTok Shop, Etsy, Shop, Instagram Shop, and more. - Develop strategies to distribute merch through creators, influencers, meme pages, community partners, advocacy groups, and cultural networks. - Manage creator outreach, seeding plans, affiliate opportunities, and partnership-based distribution. - Build scalable systems for creator-led promotion and community-driven sales. - Evaluate partner performance and recommend opportunities for deeper collaboration. - Lead and implement go-to-market strategies for merchandise launches tied to cultural, political, and social impact moments. - Identify target audiences, messaging angles, content opportunities, and distribution channels for each product or collection. - Lead email and customer engagement program for key shops. - Guide merchandise strategy across apparel and cultural ephemera, including shirts, hoodies, hats, posters, stickers, buttons, prints, totes, and small-format items, utilizing performance data. - Collaborate with creative and production teams to align products with campaign goals, audience demand, and sales potential. - Determine pricing, product mix, drop timing, collection strategy, and promotional cadence. - Maintain launch calendars, marketing timelines, product dashboards, and campaign reporting. - Build systems that allow the team to respond quickly to cultural and political moments while maintaining operational clarity. - Share insights and recommendations based on sales data, platform analytics, SEO performance, and campaign outcomes. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in social commerce, e-commerce marketing, digital growth, product marketing, affiliate marketing, ad sales, or revenue-driving merchandise programs. - Experience managing or growing platforms such as TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, Shopify, or similar digital storefronts. - Strong understanding of paid social, organic social, SEO, email, creator partnerships, affiliate programs, and platform-native content. - Experience optimizing product listings, storefronts, and product pages to improve discovery and conversion. - Experience with paid acquisition, including creative testing, audience targeting, budget management, performance analysis, and campaign optimization. - Experience developing creator, influencer, affiliate, or partner distribution strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and sales. - Familiarity with ad sales, sponsorships, brand partnerships, or co-branded revenue opportunities. - Ability to analyze sales data, platform analytics, customer behavior, campaign results, and storefront performance. - Strong understanding of social-first shopping behavior, platform algorithms, digital merchandising, and online community dynamics. - Ability to collaborate across creative, campaign, partnerships, production, and fulfillment teams. - Experience in fast-moving, culturally responsive environments. - Strong instincts for culturally relevant merchandise and mission-driven commerce. - Interest in or experience with social impact, politics, advocacy, or movement-building.
