Workday Payroll, HCM Developer

• Maintain and enhance Workday Core HCM, including worker data, organizations, positions, compensation, and job architecture. • Support end‑to‑end lifecycle processes: hiring, onboarding, job changes, performance, time tracking, absence, and offboarding. • Configure and optimize business processes, security roles, routing, condition rules, and domain policies. • Deliver reporting and analytics using Workday delivered reports, custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields. • Collaborate with HR COEs to support talent, recruiting, compensation, benefits, and organizational changes. • Ensure data quality, audit controls, regulatory compliance, and alignment with global HR standards. • Partner with Payroll and IT to ensure accurate HCM data flows for payroll processing globally. • Support Workday Payroll or Global Payroll integrations, including validation of pay inputs, outputs, pay components, and country‑specific rules. • Manage payroll data movement and mapping for global and third‑party payroll providers. • Troubleshoot payroll results, perform audits, and collaborate with country payroll teams for issue resolution. • Maintain payroll calendars, period schedules, earning/deduction configuration, and tax‑related data. • Assist in integration design leveraging EIB, Studio, PECI, API/web services (REST/SOAP) for inbound/outbound data movement. • Support data transformation, mapping accuracy, and successful handoff to downstream payroll vendors. • Participate in payroll RFP evaluations, process redesign, compliance controls, and requirements gathering. • Provide training, documentation, and user support for Workday payroll and HCM processes.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Workday experience across Core HCM and Payroll (or global payroll integrations).
- Hands‑on configuration experience with HCM business processes, security, organizations, and reporting.
- Experience with payroll processing, payroll audits, pay components, and working with third‑party payroll vendors.
- Understanding of global HR data structures, compliance, and country-specific payroll nuances.
- Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, APIs), data mapping, and testing.
- Certified in Workday HCM and Payroll.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field.
