• End-to-end payroll accountability for 2,700+ employees across multiple Canadian provinces — including governance frameworks, approvals, reconciliations, statutory remittances, and year-end reporting (T4, T2200) • Single point of accountability for the outsourced BPO provider — guiding the vendor team, leading governance reviews, monitoring KPIs and SLAs, and driving continuous performance improvement and remediation • Escalation ownership for complex payroll, benefits, and leave issues — including root-cause analysis and corrective action • Cross-border payroll for U.S. executives, including workday splits and FX rate application • WCB program compliance and integrity across all applicable provinces • Payroll and HRIS system upgrades, configuration changes, and ongoing process optimization • Internal and external audit management, SOX controls, and cross-system data integrity between payroll and benefits platforms
• Participate in end‑to‑end audit engagements — planning, testing, reporting, and presenting findings. • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and risk management. • Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand operations, challenges, and emerging risks. • Participate in projects to implement agentic AI and robotic process automation to gain efficiencies in Audit & Internal Controls workstreams. • Support data‑driven audit approaches using modern tools and techniques. • Gain a 360‑degree view of the organization, setting a strong foundation for your future rotations.
• Develop and maintain a rolling 12–18-month supply plan inclusive of inventory, production, and cultivation plans for both internally produced and externally sourced products for assigned categories. • Partner closely with schedulers and operations teams to ensure the release of optimal supply plans that maximize achievement of unconstrained demand. • Generate the demand-driven rolling 16 week supply plan (weekly) and the demand-driven rolling 18 month unconstrained and constrained supply plans (monthly) as a part of the supply review process for assigned categories. • Update and maintain data on key supply inputs to enable the end-to-end supply plan. • Proactive identification and resolution or escalation of key supply risks to both constrained and unconstrained demand through the IBP (integrated business planning) process. • Support the Supply Planning Manager with the generation of routine reports on adherence to monthly graded cultivation plans, adherence to weekly production plans, and adherence to inventory policy/ inventory coverage. • Determine root causes of adherence gaps to monthly graded cultivation plans, weekly production plans, and inventory policy; and implement action plans to drive improvement. • Lead the management of the slow moving and obsolete inventory process for assigned categories. • Participate in the annual operating plan supply response and review.
