Capital Cost Estimator, Construction Engineer
Blue United Sourcing
• Developing capital cost estimates and high-level budgets for manufacturing, warehousing, and facility projects • Analyzing engineering drawings, specs, and project documentation to determine material, labor, and equipment needs • Performing quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns across multiple engineering disciplines • Researching and validating market pricing, labor rates, and equipment costs to keep estimates current • Running financial analyses — NPV, IRR, depreciation — to support project decisions • Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and operations teams throughout every project phase • Reviewing vendor and contractor quotes for accuracy and scope alignment • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and contributing to estimating process improvements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field)
- 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, pre-construction, or capital project support
- Comfortable developing Scope of Work documents and reviewing bid packages
- Experience with estimating and project management tools like RSMeans, ProEst, Procore, or similar
- Solid skills in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- A team player who communicates clearly and thrives in cross-functional environments
- Must be authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship available).

Role Description Coho Construction Management is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in support of a newly awarded contract. This remote role requires travel and will provide discipline-specific technical review and oversight support to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and contract requirements. Role Description AECOM is currently seeking a Construction Inspector to support a variety of transportation design-build projects throughout the White, GA area.
