Role Description The Claims Associate supports captive insurance claims operations by managing communications, maintaining accurate claim data, and assisting with reporting and administrative processes. This role monitors dedicated mailboxes and phone lines, triages and distributes correspondence, and serves as a point of contact for insureds, brokers, captive managers, TPAs, and fronting carriers. - Enter and maintain claim information in the claims system. - Prepare and issue routine claim correspondence. - Support report and loss run production. - Manage incoming documentation from carriers to ensure timely follow-up. - Handle administrative tasks such as document redaction, quality review, indexing, DocuSign workflow creation, and secure distribution. - Contribute to audits, special projects, and regulatory or client-driven initiatives. Your Impact: - Monitor Oxford’s dedicated claim mailboxes, handling and distributing mail as appropriate. - Enter, review, and maintain data within the claim management system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal standards and service level expectations. - Answer and return calls from Oxford’s dedicated phone line. - Prepare, review, and distribute written acknowledgements and routine claim correspondence to insureds, brokers, captive managers, TPAs, and fronting carriers. - Assist with the creation and distribution of internal and external reports and loss runs. - Monitor and manage communications and documentation from fronting carriers, ensuring proper routing and follow-up. - Perform administrative tasks including redaction, quality review, document indexing, DocuSign workflow creation, and secure distribution. - Assist with department-wide initiatives, audits, special projects, and regulatory or client-driven requests as needed. Qualifications - Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. - 1-3 years of experience in claims administration/support or insurance operations. - Strong working knowledge of insurance claim workflows and terminology. - Demonstrated experience working with claim management systems. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders and external partners. - Advanced organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently. Requirements - Pay Range: $51,800 - $65,000 Annual. - The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
