Role Description We are seeking an Analyst to join our real estate investment team. This role will support underwriting, portfolio analysis, and business development initiatives across our single-family rental (SFR/BTR) platform. This is a highly analytical role with exposure to both investment decision-making and growth strategy, ideal for someone early in their career looking to build a strong foundation in real estate investing. - Support underwriting and financial analysis for new investment opportunities, partnerships, and business development initiatives (cash flow, yield, IRR, scenario modeling) - Partner with Business Development and Investment teams to evaluate new opportunities, including builder relationships, portfolio deals, and strategic partnerships - Analyze portfolio performance across key metrics including occupancy, rent growth, expenses, and NOI - Build and maintain financial models to support both new opportunities and ongoing portfolio insights - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform growth strategy - Assist in preparing investment memos, presentations, and reporting materials for internal stakeholders - Track pipeline activity and support alignment between underwriting, deal strategy, and execution - Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Property Management teams Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field - 2 - 4+ years of experience in real estate, investment banking, consulting, FP&A, or analytical roles - Strong financial modeling and Excel skills - Highly proactive, strong leadership skills - Demonstrated experience operating in an AI powered workflow - Exposure to underwriting, valuation, or business case development - Analytical mindset with ability to connect data to business decisions - Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills - Highly organized and detail-oriented Requirements - Exposure to real estate investing (SFR, multifamily, or residential) - Experience with SQL, Tableau, Sigma, or similar tools - Interest in business development, partnerships, or growth strategy Benefits - Generous PTO Policy - 13 Paid Holidays - Volunteer Time Off - Paid Parental Leave - 401k Program - Wellness and home office/cell phone subsidies - Robust health, dental, vision insurance, and more
