Full TimeRemoteTeam 51-200H1B No Sponsor

Role Description This is not a traditional Account Director role. You’ll lead a social-first and experiential account for a leading category-defining consumer tech brand. The work spans always-on social, cultural activations, and campaign moments, all at the intersection of culture, community, and innovation. This brand expects a partner who can move at the speed of social while thinking several steps ahead. You are equal parts business lead, strategic partner, and operator. You know how to build trust with senior clients, translate ambition into clear plans, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver work that shows up in culture, not just on a content calendar. You are comfortable in the gray. You bring structure where it’s needed, push when it matters, and stay close enough to the work to keep the quality bar high. You are a hands-on leader. Location: Minneapolis, Los Angeles, or New York. This is a virtual role but largely East Coast based clients. What You'll Own - Client Leadership - Serve as the senior day to day client lead across a portfolio of brands or a large, multi-workstream engagement. - Earn trust quickly, and keep it by being proactive, informed, and never caught flat-footed. - Translate evolving client needs into clear scopes, priorities, and ways of working. - Navigate ambiguity with confidence, especially in environments where strategy is set internally and requires strong translation into execution. - Strategic Direction - Champion a social-first, platform-native approach across all workstreams. - Guide the development of always-on content systems that balance scale, speed, and cultural relevance. - Partner closely with Strategy & Creative to ensure work is not just on-brief, but culturally sharp and worth engaging with. - Push beyond campaign thinking to build sustainable content ecosystems and fandom-driven engagement. - Team Leadership - Lead a cross-functional team across account, project management, strategy, creative, and production. - Set the tone for how the team shows up: calm, accountable, and solutions-oriented. - Coach and collaborate closely with team members (note: this role does not include direct reports). - Create an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and motivated to do their best work. - Operational Excellence - Own the health of the business across scope, staffing, and financials, staying tightly aligned with Project Management on timelines, estimates, and delivery. - Build scalable ways of working that can flex across brands, moments, and levels of intensity. - Identify risks early and solve them before they become problems. Qualifications - 10+ years in account management, agency-side preferred. - Experience in digital, social, and content-led programs, especially organic social. - You've ideally managed entertainment, fandom, or multi-brand accounts. - You understand how culture moves on social and you have strong opinions about how brands should (and shouldn't) show up in it. - You communicate with clarity and confidence, in a deck, in a room, in a Slack message. - Comfort working in fast-moving, evolving environments where priorities shift and clarity isn’t always given. - A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence without ego. - We are an AI-forward workplace. We value candidates who are comfortable with generative AI and passionate about experimenting with new ways to integrate these tools into their daily work. What makes someone successful here - You lean in, not back. You don’t wait for direction, you create it. - You care about the work, not just the process, and stay close enough to elevate it. - You can zoom out to see the bigger picture, and zoom in to fix what’s broken. - You build real relationships, internally and externally. - You know how to balance being strategic, scrappy, and steady all at once. - You genuinely like and respect the people you work with. Compensation - Role Type: Full-Time, Temporary (up to 40 hours per week). - Hourly Rate: $100 - $125 / hour based on experience, location, skills and qualifications. - Payroll: This is a W2 position only; all compensation will be processed through space150 payroll. Benefits - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. - 401(k) with company match. - Life Insurance (basic, voluntary & AD&D). - Family Leave (parental leave). - Short & Long Term Disability. - Statutory benefits required by law.
