Senior Global Entities Manager
Canva
• Own Canva’s global entity lifecycle and governance end to end, including incorporations, maintenance, capital injections, restructurings, integrations, wind-downs, subsidiary board and shareholder operations and statutory compliance across jurisdictions • Build, own and continuously improve scalable processes, systems and documentation for entity management and governance • Act as the single owner and point of accountability for entity-related work • Own the legal execution of global expansion by establishing new entities and building repeatable playbooks • Develop deep subject-matter expertise in global mobility and equity-related considerations • Lead our annual insurance renewal cycles, partnering closely with our brokers • Own and support placement decisions across the global Canva group • Own the corporate legal integration of acquired companies
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in corporate governance, entity management, legal operations, program management, or a closely related field, ideally within a fast-growing, global technology company
- Deep, hands-on experience managing international subsidiary portfolios, including entity formation, compliance, restructurings and integrations across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong judgment and a pragmatic, risk-aware approach to corporate governance and compliance
- Proven track record of building scalable processes and systems from scratch
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Clear and confident communication in both written and verbal settings, particularly with leadership and in governance or board-facing contexts
- Collaborative, low-ego and comfortable influencing across functions and geographies without relying on formal authority
- Comfortable using and improving technology and tools that support entity management, board operations, records management and cross-functional collaboration
