Scrum Master / Project Manager (Software Engineering) Location: Riyadh | Type: Permanent Drive Agile delivery and enable high-performing software teams to deliver impactful outcomes The Role As a Scrum Master / Project Manager, you will enable the effective functioning of software development teams using Agile methodologies. You will support teams to deliver high-quality outcomes by fostering collaboration, removing blockers, and promoting continuous improvement. Working closely with stakeholders, you will ensure alignment on priorities while guiding teams through the full delivery lifecycle. • Facilitate product setup, updates, and deactivation initiatives across Editorial, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams • Translate business requirements received through JIRA intake into structured epics and tasks • Serve as Scrum Master for PDI departmental workflows • Manage and optimize JIRA boards and workflows • Report on velocity and capacity metrics to set clear expectations • Monitor, analyze, and respond to JIRA dashboards and metric reporting

• Guide, coach, and support Agile teams in delivering high-value products • Serve as a servant-leader, ensuring Agile principles and practices are understood and applied • Remove impediments to team progress and foster a culture of continuous improvement • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives • Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile values, principles, and practices • Encourage self-organization and accountability within the team • Protect the team from external distractions to maintain focus on priorities • Ensure commitments are delivered with transparency and predictability • Track and analyze key Agile metrics to drive improvements

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. • Support backlog readiness, sprint capacity planning, and dependency visibility to improve predictability and execution. • Coach teams on agile practices, continuous improvement, and effective cross-functional collaboration. • Manage selected internal initiatives using a waterfall project approach when timing, scope, governance, or coordination needs require it. • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, assumptions, and resource needs for priority initiatives. • Track progress across agile delivery and structured projects, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into status, blockers, and tradeoffs. • Maintain project documentation, action logs, milestone plans, and reporting artifacts. • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align priorities, resolve issues, and support on-time execution.
