Role Description As Principal Technical Program Manager, you will be the connective tissue of our most critical initiatives. You will sit at the center of our highest-visibility programs, helping software development, hardware engineering, and external partners work together as a single, coherent team. Your goal is to ensure hardware constraints inform software plans and that our leadership always has a clear, data-driven view of how we are progressing. If successful, you will define the "operating system" for how complex programs run at LVT and help us grow a broader TPM team. - Bridge Product, Software & Hardware: Translate high-level strategy into execution by aligning engineering plans across cloud services, firmware, and software. - Sync Delivery Cycles: Help synchronize software sprints with hardware realities, ensuring that our release plans reflect real-world lead times and physical constraints. - Streamline Integrations: Reduce friction between firmware and backend services to ensure a smooth journey from hardware concept to customer-facing features. - Lead System-Wide Programs: Guide programs through the entire lifecycle—from prototyping and validation to production readiness. - Partner with Vendors: Coordinate with external manufacturers and technology partners to ensure their deliverables are tightly integrated with our internal goals. - Enable Informed Decisions: Establish helpful, metrics-driven reporting that gives the team and our executives clear insight into progress, risks, and tradeoffs. Qualifications - Collaborative Leadership: You are a senior leader who enjoys bringing order to complex environments without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. - Technical Versatility: You have a working fluency in both modern software development (cloud-native, APIs) and hardware cycles (validation, manufacturing, and supply chain). - Communication Skills: You are known for your ability to turn ambiguous situations into clear narratives and crisp decision points for stakeholders at all levels. - A Growth Mindset: You are motivated by building the systems and operating models that will help a company scale. - Experience: You likely have 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management leveraging Atlassian toolset or similar project management toolset like Smartsheet etc. - People leadership, team building experience are a plus. - Prior experience with IoT or hardware-enabled SaaS is a plus. Requirements - Utah HQ or Remote: This role will be based in our Utah Headquarters or Remote (US-based), and you should be comfortable collaborating with team members across various time zones. - Travel: Because our work involves physical hardware, occasional travel (approximately 10-25%) will be needed to visit our facilities or partners to build relationships and see the product in person. • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact. • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritize deliverables. • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, and/or manage project plans for the supported program(s). • Review key metrics about a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations. • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals. • Own end-to-end execution for Libraries programs, including intake, prioritization, dependency tracking, issue resolution, and delivery of package and library builds. • Design and improve processes that enable scalable and reliable delivery which can be reproduced across library ecosystems. • Coordinate across Engineering, Product, Security, and Infrastructure to align priorities, timelines, and technical constraints. • Surface and manage risks, blockers, and tradeoffs early through effective execution forums and async communication. • Lead capacity planning and forecasting to support parallel initiatives and changing demand. • Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve library and package coverage and reduce systemic friction. • Coordinate work performed by contractors or external contributors, ensuring quality and alignment with engineering standards. • Communicate status, risks, and decisions clearly and accurately to engineering and leadership stakeholders.

• Program Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute hardware storage, delivery and integration projects, from sales through deployment, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. • Technical Coordination: Work closely with systems engineers, solution architects, and field teams to ensure alignment on requirements, integration specifications, and testing procedures. • Customer Interface: Act as a key liaison between technical teams and clients, managing expectations, communicating progress, and addressing risks or issues proactively. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive coordination among engineering, logistics, procurement, quality assurance, and operations teams throughout the program lifecycle. • Vendor Engagement: Partner with OEMs, component suppliers, and service partners to track deliverables, validate configurations, and support issue resolution. • Process & Quality Management: Maintain documentation, track program metrics, and ensure compliance with integration standards and quality controls. • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process enhancements and best practices in program management and hardware delivery execution.
