Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Telehealth

• Conduct virtual psychiatric assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate medication management plans for clients. • Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjusting dosages and treatment plans as necessary. • Collaborate with our team of licensed therapists and counselors to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients. • Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding medication adherence, potential side effects, and therapeutic interventions. • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements. • Autonomy over clinical decisions: You are the licensed and trained provider. We defer to your clinical judgement and expertise about the most effective and clinically appropriate approach for clients.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in psychiatric-mental health.
- Current state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and national certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-certification clinical experience in psychiatric-mental health.
- Experience with telehealth platforms and technology for virtual patient consultations.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
