Manager, Plan Consulting

PCS Retirement

• Manages a team responsible for various aspects of defined contribution plan administration • Guides direct reports and oversees departmental projects • Ensures compliance with regulations through testing and process enhancements • Acts as a key liaison between departments and assists with strategic decision-making • Provides training and guidance on annual Form 5500 testing • Takes ownership of team processes and performs testing for defined contribution plans • Calculates retirement plan contributions and allocations • Prepares IRS Form 5500-SF, 5500-EZ, and Form 5500 with schedules • Provides plan audit support and reconciliations • Completes compliance correction projects as needed

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of retirement plan administration experience
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience
  • FT Williams software experience preferred
  • QKA Certification required
  • Ability to reconcile transactions/assets on the Trust Statement
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel, must be able to build complex formulas and use V-lookup feature & pivot tables
  • Exceptional knowledge of IRS/ DOL regulations for 401k plans
  • Excellent organizational skills that are transferrable across multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Self-Starter, highly self-motivated, ability to work independently and problem-solve with minimal direction
  • Advanced listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
