Role Description - Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure for our SaaS platform on AWS. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our systems. - Operate, monitor, and improve Linux-based environments. - Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support fast and reliable releases. - Automate recurring tasks and improve operational efficiency using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform) and configuration management tool (e.g. Ansible). - Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system reliability. - Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of operational processes. - Contribute to IT certification programs (ISO 27001) including documentation, audits, and compliance. - Collaborate closely with software developers to ensure smooth deployments and production stability. - Support the introduction of new technologies and best practices within the DevOps field. Qualifications - Several years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of AWS services, Linux system administration and proficiency in scripting languages (Bash / Shell). - Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) and configuration Management tool (Ansible or similar). - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus). - Solid understanding of networking, security, and scaling concepts in cloud environments. - Experience with CI/CD systems (ideally CircleCI) and monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog, CloudWatch). - Knowledge of IT security and compliance standards, ideally ISO 27001. - Strong problem-solving skills, structured way of working, and high reliability. - Excellent communication skills in English (C2 level); German is a plus. - Based in Munich (preferred) or willing to work remotely. - Programming knowledge (Ruby is a plus). Role Description We’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to help bring our Azure infrastructure under Terraform and build the platform our product teams depend on. We have a running production environment; now we need someone to codify it, automate it, and make it self-service. You’ll split your time evenly between platform engineering and operational work, with a clear mandate to reduce the operational burden over time. This is a hands-on technical role with a 50/50 split: - Platform Engineering (50%): - Terraform existing Azure infrastructure.
