Role Description Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: BIM Modeler/ Draftsperson Compensation range: $1,500 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. You will play a key role in developing high-quality electrical BIM models for projects reporting to our Construction Manager across medium-to-large-scale projects in Victoria Australia. Key Responsibilities: - Develop accurate Electrical BIM models (Lighting, Power, Cable Tray, ELV, Data, Comms, Lightning Protection, Earthing, and fabrication/installation drawings) as per LOD and BEP requirements. - Produce coordinated 2D/3D drawings, schematics, and schedules with consistent naming and parameters. - Update models and drawings based on engineer markups, RFIs, and client feedback. - Coordinate with MEP, Structural, and Architectural teams to detect and resolve clashes using Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC, or Revizto. - Create, modify, and maintain Electrical Revit families with correct parameters and classification. - Follow BEP and QA/QC standards for modeling, documentation, and file structure. - Collaborate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and Site teams, attending coordination meetings. - Manage model versions, publishing, and file naming within the CDE (ACC / BIM 360). - Perform model audits to eliminate warnings, optimize performance, and maintain correct coordinates. Qualifications - 3 + years of BIM Electrical modelling experience - Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Revizto - Experience with LOD 500; familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is highly regarded - Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams - Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field beneficial but not required - Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work and achieve deadlines Work Arrangement & Expectations This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
