Role Description Charger Logistics is seeking a skilled network engineer to join our team. The role involves: - Designing, redesigning, and implementing connectivity, security, delivery, and monitoring services related to virtual networks, VPN, NAT gateways, DNS, load balancers, web application firewalls, application gateways, etc. - Extensive experience in networking within large enterprise environments, including WAN, LAN, data centers, and cloud environments. - Designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based network solutions using Azure, GCP, and AWS platforms. - Developing and implementing strategies for seamless cloud integration, including hybrid cloud environments. - Experience with HPE Aruba network solutions, including wireless and wired networking. - Designing and implementing BGP routing policies to ensure optimal path selection and traffic engineering. - Continuously adapting and fine-tuning architecture, configuration standards, and protocols in partnership with Infrastructure and Security teams. - Knowledgeable in network security best practices and integration. - Developing, designing, and implementing network roadmap, architecture, standards, and governance. - Monitoring network performance using advanced tools and techniques, identifying and resolving issues proactively. - Contributing to continuous process development, improvement, and automation of Perimeter Defense related solutions and support activities. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations. - 5+ years of designing, deploying, maintaining, and improving on-prem and cloud networks. - Experience with cloud networking technologies, including VNETs, ExpressRoute, User Defined Routes, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, DNS, Route Servers, and Network Managers. - Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco Switches, HPE Switches. - Extensive background in core networking technologies such as TCP/IP, STP, HSRP, NAT, QoS, SNMP, and SYSLOG. - Proficiency in routing technologies, specifically BGP. - Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes. - Self-starter with high energy to meet the needs of a demanding business and IT environment. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in network design and deployment. - Proficiency in cloud networking technologies. - Experience with HPE Aruba and Cisco networking solutions. - Strong understanding of core networking technologies. - Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes. • Architect and implement LAN/WAN/SD-WAN and Wi-Fi for multiple global offices. • Manage Cisco Meraki switches/routers and APs, while staying vendor-agnostic for future integrations. • Implement and manage Wi-Fi EAP (Enterprise Authentication), certificate-based authentication, and enforce zero-trust access controls. • Plan and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi, including RF design, surveys, and performance tuning. • Build secure cloud and hybrid networking (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Automate deployments and configuration management with Python, Ansible, and IaC tools (Terraform, GitOps). • Implement observability and alerting; drive improvements in MTTR and service reliability. • Support compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001) with configs, change control, and documentation. • Travel regionally (approx. 25–40% during buildouts) for on-site deployments and architecture reviews.
