Network Technician

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer networks; • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot incidents; • Provide technical support to users and internal teams; • Configure and manage network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls); • Implement improvements and optimizations to the network infrastructure; • Serve external clients by installing and configuring network and telephony equipment; • Document procedures, configurations, and technical incidents.

Job Requirements

  • Completed technical education or ongoing/complete higher education in Computer Networks, IT, or related fields;
  • Knowledge in configuring and maintaining networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN);
  • Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP);
  • Experience with network equipment (routers, switches, access points);
  • Basic knowledge of information security (firewall, VPN);
  • Previous experience in the role or in network support;
  • Availability for on-site support and/or remote assistance;
  • Experience in the installation and configuration of CCTV equipment.
  • Certifications in the area, such as CCNA or similar;
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and rack assembly;
  • Experience replacing/servicing UPS units and surge protectors/line filters;
  • Knowledge of electrical measurements using a multimeter;
  • Advanced knowledge in the installation of CCTV cameras.
