Role Description Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring immediate openings in the position of Title Landman Agent for a remote position. The individuals we are looking for must have experience with Wyoming Federal Title, be a self-starter, and able to perform the below tasks with very little or no supervision. Minimum of (5) Five years of experience in right-of-way title research. This is a 1099 position. - Pulling tax cards from courthouses and locating tax cards online to determine preliminary ownership of tracts/parcels. - Locating source deeds and vesting deeds and comparing them to tax cards for discrepancies. - Performing onsite and/or online research necessary for Vesting and/or Marketable Title. - Preparing Chain of Title and Limited Title Certificates. - Assembling title files according to the protocols established by the Project. - Posting and archiving title files according to Project procedures. - Constant communication with their supervisor over how their work is impacting the project scope, goals, and deliverables (Project Execution Plan). - Informing their supervisor over obstacles to accomplishing their tasks and working with their supervisor to devise strategies that will accomplish the Client’s objectives in obtaining survey permitting or acquisition. - Capable of working unsupervised in a variety of roles. - Well qualified in a specialized area such as Indian land title, government title, mortgages, liens, etc., if selected to work only in a limited area of special expertise. - Good understanding of mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, leases, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements as to legal description, ownership, restrictions, or conformity to other state requirements. - Represents client and self with professionalism and integrity; can relate to people from various backgrounds. - Ability to navigate multiple client databases. - Demonstrates excellent computer knowledge through effective use of software including Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and database use. - Able to work well in a team environment or an individual role. - Experience with Wyoming Federal Title. Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of experience in right-of-way title research. - Experience with Wyoming Federal Title. - Good understanding of legal descriptions, ownership, and state requirements. Requirements - Self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision. - Professionalism and integrity in representing clients. - Ability to relate to people from various backgrounds. - Excellent computer knowledge and software proficiency.
