Senior Software Engineer
AMERICAN SYSTEMS
• Develop and enhance responsive web applications using frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue • Convert functional and design requirements into scalable, accessible, and maintainable software solutions • Integrate applications with REST APIs, enterprise services, and backend data sources • Support deployments across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, or Oracle Cloud • Configure and manage cloud services including compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, and monitoring • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and application security controls • Apply cloud and infrastructure concepts such as virtual networks, load balancers, and cloud storage services to support reliable and scalable applications • Build and support Power Pages solutions integrated with Dataverse and related enterprise platforms • Design and optimize relational databases, queries, and supporting data structures • Develop and maintain data access layers, stored procedures, scripts, and automated build, test, and deployment pipelines • Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, assess technical approaches, and deliver high-quality solutions • Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and solution designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Active CBP BI or Top Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required for the purpose of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. security clearance
- 10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, or engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience integrating multiple technologies and systems
- Experience with one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, or Oracle Cloud
- Knowledge of best practices related to Agile, CI/CD, software development, and unit testing
- Understanding of Unified Data principles or enterprise data integration concepts
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
