Global Manufacturing Engineering Leader
Switzerland Global Enterprise
• Create global manufacturing process strategy • Develop L4 and L5 manufacturing process standards • Ensure application of standards in shops • Work closely with engineering, shop, and quality teams • Drive standardization and process improvement across L4 and L5 shops • Lead line stop resolution including root cause identification, containment, and corrective action • Learn/leverage and standardize best practices within AAJV and across the broader industry • Lead and mentor others through kaizen events • Establish a formal cadence with each site for manufacturing engineering strategy, coaching, improvement plans, project tracking, and execution • Establish functional integration to aid in broader AAJV SQDC improvements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience spanning Manufacturing Engineering and Shop Operations
- Proven track record of implementing SQDC improvements
- Experience creating a manufacturing engineering organization
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time
- Demonstrated leadership experience at the Director and/or GM Level
- Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
- Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong change management skills
- Strong project management skills
- Lean Shingijutsu experience
