• Develop a comprehensive project plan, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. • Provide leadership, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle. • Identify and manage project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans as necessary. • Monitor project expenditures, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and provide project cost reports to internal stakeholders. • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, updating them on project progress, issues, and risks. • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and that project goals are achieved to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. • Identify and engage project stakeholders, managing their expectations and ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes. • Manage project scope changes, evaluating their impact on project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management. • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including capacity planning, project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex projects, preferably in a technology, specifically software-related, or engineering field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with project management software, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum, and an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex challenges through critical thinking, creativity, and sound decision-making, delivering effective and practical solutions.
- Ability to motivate the team by fostering a positive, inclusive work environment, setting clear goals and expectations, recognizing achievements, and encouraging collaboration to drive high performance and continuous improvement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Certification in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP, is preferred.
- 4+ years of project management experience.
