Role Description We’re hiring a Payroll Lead, EMEA to work with local teams to standardize and stabilize payroll operations across EMEA. Covering 15+ countries, you’ll play a critical role in driving both operational stability and strategic alignment. You’ll lead payroll execution within the region to improve and maintain quality, and have a heavy involvement in standardization initiatives in collaboration with leaders and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Lead payroll for 700+ employees across EMEA, ensuring compliance and accuracy. - Lead a regional HR/payroll team and support vendor coordination. - Drive payroll system improvements and standardization efforts. - Lead audits and special payroll cycles. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high level of quality payroll services. - Execute operational tasks to support day-to-day payroll delivery operations as needed. Qualifications - 8+ years’ payroll experience, with 3+ years leading regional and matrixed teams. - Expertise in EMEA payroll regulations and multi-country management. - Proficiency in ADP, SAP, Workday, or similar systems. - Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills. - Fluent in English; German, Dutch, French, Italian, Polish, Turkish, or Spanish is a plus. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required or a combination of education and significant experience in accounting or finance may be considered in lieu of a degree. - Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA preferred). - Payroll and HCM related experience highly preferred. - Oracle and/or UKG experience highly preferred. - 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit required. - Experience in corporate accounting, tax, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, or financial reporting preferred.
