• Own the technical vision and architecture for mission-critical trading systems, including order management, execution engines, and reliability infrastructure. • Drive multi-quarter projects across multiple engineering teams from design through production delivery. • Lead system design and code review processes that elevate engineering quality and set standards for the trading stack. • Partner with Product Management and Design to align product strategy with long-term technical bets and roadmap priorities. • Shape the strategic direction of the trading platform by identifying high-leverage technical initiatives and driving consensus across organizational boundaries. • Deepen engineering talent across the team by coaching engineers at various levels and developing the next generation of trading infrastructure leaders.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated ownership of large-scale distributed systems.
- Hands-on expertise in trading systems (traditional or crypto), with direct experience building or operating order management, execution, market data, or risk management components.
- Track record of leading complex, cross-team initiatives from ambiguous problem statements through delivered outcomes, with measurable impact on product or platform reliability.
- Demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into scalable system designs and communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with performant backend languages in production trading environments.
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
