Role Description Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for basic automobile accidents. Applies analytical thinking to determine coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. We are looking for an Auto Adjuster to join our growing team! The ideal candidate brings prior Auto claims experience and a strong understanding of coverage evaluations. This role requires the ability to identify coverage issues, interpret policy language, and clearly explain the reasoning behind coverage decisions, including drafting disclaimers. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role. Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires; however, your recruiter will provide more specific compensation details during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $90,000 - $127,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $113,000 - $132,000.
