Senior QA Automation Engineer
Valtech
• To learn and apply QA principles to build UI, API and performance test cases, overseeing their execution and results. • To automate checks for different platforms, operating systems and browsers in order to identify regressions. • To report incidents derived from automation test execution and follow up on updates. • To implement and integrate reporting tools to be able to gather meaningful metrics about projects health. • To work closely with Manual QA teams to identify automation needs and smoke plans. • To support development and Manual QA team in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, by analyzing logs, performing queries and debugging. • To participate in agile ceremonies (Daily meetings, Planning, Retrospective). • To participate in user stories estimation. • To participate in the code review process.
Job Requirements
- +5 years of experience working as a QA automation engineer.
- Experience or knowledge working with Selenium framework and Javascript).
- Experience working with Content Management Systems (Optimizely or AEM preferred)
- HTML structure, CSS and XPATH selectors knowledge.
- Experience and knowledge testing REST API's (HTTP status codes and verbs, authentication methods, JSON format).
- Web Services testing tools (Postman).
- Experience or knowledge working with agile methodologies.
- Source code versioning using Git.
- Experience using project management tools (JIRA / Confluence preferred).
- Fluent level of English.

Collaborate directly with software engineering and cybersecurity teams to ensure timely resolution. • Quality Assurance (QA) Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive test reports, risk assessments, and quality metrics to program managers and mission stakeholders. • Compliance: Ensure all automated testing processes comply with Department of War (DoW) DevSecOps standards and securely process mission data up to Impact Level 4 (IL4).
