Services Solutions Director
Domo
• Lead consultative discovery with business and technical stakeholders to identify customer priorities, clarify desired outcomes, and define the most effective services approach;• Design and scope services engagements that accelerate adoption, support measurable business value, increase platform and credit consumption, and create a path for renewal and expansion;• Partner early with Sales, Customer Success, and other internal stakeholders on strategic or complex opportunities to shape solution direction, service strategy, and phased roadmaps;• Translate customer needs into clear commercial and delivery artifacts, including solution summaries, proposals, level-of-effort estimates, pricing recommendations, assumptions, exclusions, success criteria, and Statements of Work;• Drive consistency and rigor in scoping by applying structured estimation logic, risk identification, dependency management, and clearly defined deliverables and boundaries;• Help evolve Domo’s services packaging strategy by contributing to modular, repeatable, and outcome-based offerings that balance customer flexibility with delivery clarity and margin discipline;• Support services pipeline development by identifying opportunities for attach, expansion, and value realization through sales activity, customer signals, roadmap conversations, and platform usage patterns;• Serve as a key pre-sales partner across multiple services motions, including Professional Services, partner-led delivery, specialized consulting, and AI-related solution opportunities;• Enable internal field teams through playbooks, templates, frameworks, training, and best practices that improve how services are positioned, scoped, sold, and handed off;• Review and guide partner-led scopes and partner-authored SOWs to ensure alignment with Domo standards, protect delivery quality, and reduce downstream risk;• Partner with post-sales and delivery teams to ensure clean transition from pre-sales to execution, including knowledge transfer, scope intent, assumptions, risks, and customer context;• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of Domo’s services go-to-market model, including proposal frameworks, SOW standards, estimation methodology, and scalable pre-sales processes;• Support the design and scoping of AI-enabled, automation-driven, and agent-based solutions by translating business use cases into practical implementation approaches and service plans.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in solution consulting, professional services, solution architecture, pre-sales services, or a related customer-facing role within SaaS, data, analytics, or enterprise technology;
- Demonstrated success scoping and structuring services engagements, including consultative discovery, solution design, estimation, proposal development, and SOW creation;
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect customer priorities, business outcomes, platform capabilities, and commercial structure into a coherent services recommendation;
- Experience working across complex stakeholder environments, including Sales, Customer Success, Delivery, Partners, and executive customer audiences;
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, data ecosystems, analytics workflows, governance considerations, adoption planning, and implementation strategy;
- Ability to frame and package services in a repeatable yet tailored way, including phased roadmaps, modular service constructs, or outcome-based engagement models;
- Experience working with partners in co-sell, co-scope, or co-delivery environments, including reviewing partner-authored scopes or enabling partner quality and consistency;
- Familiarity with AI, automation, workflow, or agent-based solution patterns and the ability to apply them pragmatically in customer-facing services conversations;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished customer-facing and internal-facing materials;
- Strong executive presence and the ability to navigate both strategic business conversations and practical delivery considerations;
- Hands-on familiarity with Domo is strongly preferred, especially in areas such as data integration, visualization, App Studio, Workflows, Domo Everywhere, and AI-related capabilities;
- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, computer science, information systems, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree is a plus;
- Ability to travel up to 10–20% as needed for strategic workshops, customer meetings, partner planning, and internal onsite sessions.

• Define and own the vision, business plan, and growth strategy for Willdan’s Building Optimization Solutions offering. • Translate the Assess–Improve–Sustain model into clear, standardized services and packages deployable across regions and markets. • Establish performance targets (revenue, margin, savings delivered, client outcomes) and report progress regularly to Regional Vice President for Rocky Mountain Region goals and Willdan leadership for additional national goals and KPIs. • Identify and prioritize target markets (K‑12, municipal, higher education, healthcare, commercial/industrial, water/wastewater) and align offerings with their internal goals. • Collaborate with other business development managers & divisions regularly to ensure cross-collaboration is happening to sell greater Willdan services, including comprehensive design-build and ESPC opportunities. • Develop and maintain the Building Optimization Solutions portfolio, including VPW (Ventilation, Power, Water) optimization, HVAC system optimization, and integration of renewable energy and advanced energy storage solutions. • Ensure offerings deliver on the core value promise: healthier environments, lower cost, and more reliable operations by optimizing existing systems first, and recommending equipment upgrades when they make financial and operational sense. • Incorporate relevant standards and guidance (e.g., ASHRAE 62.1, 241, wildfire smoke/IAQ guidance) into practical methods, tools, and playbooks for project teams. • Define criteria for when to prioritize optimization versus planning HVAC equipment replacements and upgrades. • Partner with national business development and account teams to position Building Optimization Solutions & turnkey (design-build or ESPC) with existing and new clients. • Lead key client conversations to understand internal goals (e.g., sustainability, resilience, cost control) and frame tailored optimization roadmaps. • Develop proposal content, pricing approaches, and sales tools that clearly articulate the Assess–Improve–Sustain journey and associated value. • Represent Building Optimization Solutions at client meetings, conferences, webinars, and industry events. • Provide leadership and oversight to cross‑functional teams delivering Assess, Improve, and Sustain scopes. • Develop project in accordance with WPE process and guidelines. All proposals and deliverables must be reviewed and approved by the VP of Business Development & Engineering before issuance to customers. • Establish delivery standards, templates, and QA/QC processes for assessments, optimization projects, and ongoing support to ensure consistency and quality. • Guide project teams on integrating HVAC equipment replacements and upgrades into optimization plans where warranted. • Support practical performance tracking and reporting that demonstrate improvements in health, cost, and reliability. • Coordinate with internal teams to integrate Building Optimization Solutions into their qualified opportunities. • Collaborate with technology and equipment partners (e.g., HVAC and controls providers) when their solutions support system‑level optimization outcomes. • Help design commercial structures that enable low‑ and no‑upfront‑capital pathways for clients where appropriate. • Serve as an manager‑level point of contact and trusted advisor for strategic Building Optimization clients. • Lead periodic review conversations to revisit performance, refresh opportunities, and reinforce Willdan’s role as a continuous improvement partner beyond the initial project. • Capture lessons learned and client feedback to refine offerings and enhance long‑term relationships.
