Role Description As a Desk Property Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for Homeowners claims. This remote role includes determining coverage and damages, and adjusting and negotiating claims within assigned authority levels. You will manage the full lifecycle of the claim, including supplements, Additional Living Expense, contents, and personal property. Throughout the process, you will provide timely, clear communication to customers, keeping them informed as their claim progresses. We are seeking an experienced Property Adjuster with proficiency in Xactimate and a strong foundation in claims handling, including supplements and full claim ownership. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, excellent customer service, and the ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment. Experience handling property claims is required and the ideal candidate works in the Central Standard or Mountain Time Zones. Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires; however, your recruiter will provide more specific compensation details during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $90,000 - $127,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $113,000 - $132,000.
