Development PMO Director
Serverfarm
• Establish and lead the Development PMO, defining project management standards, tools, methodologies, and controls • Oversee a portfolio of datacenter projects including new construction, expansions, retrofits and tenant fit outs • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, and resource availability • Monitor portfolio health, interdependencies, and critical path risks • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to operational readiness standards • Partner with Land Development, Development, Preconstruction, Power Delivery, Engineering, Ops Engineering, IT, Procurement, and Operations teams to drive end-to-end execution • Manage project and portfolio budgets, forecasting, and cash flow reporting • Establish cost controls and value management practices • Identify, assess, and mitigate project and portfolio-level risks • Provide executive-level dashboards and briefings on schedule, cost, risk, and capacity readiness • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on delivery strategy • Ensure transparency and consistency in communications across global teams • Build, mentor, and lead teams of project and program managers • Help define roles, career paths, and performance metrics • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. • Help build company culture where the whole team is more connected and accountable to each other.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in program/project management, with 5+ years in datacenter, infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities
- Proven experience standing up and leading a PMO
- Strong understanding of datacenter development, construction, MEP systems, commissioning, and operational handover
